Blog Entry: So I took my girl to the drag races this weekend for her B-day, saw a bad ass Ford race a well....lets just call it a chevy. It was a Ford F-350 with the power-stroke but modified to run on something different cause they called it a vegi-stroke. Up against a 3500 Duramax. I was a little worried about watching a Ford lose but the Ford pulled out a 15.3 on 1000 ft. at almost 95 MPH, Raped the Duramax it was sick. Did anyone know that they changed most quarter mile drag tracks to only a 1000 ft. cause of the Top Fuel guys? Apparently by taking off the the extra 100 ft. or whatever it is, is like 80 mph slower then before just so that they have enough time to stop. This is bull??? if you ask me, I have never noticed that they had a problem stopping in the past besides isn't that what the parachute is for to SLOW the car done. I want to go to the drag races and see 450 mph on the quarter mile in 4.5 sec. Anyone agree?
