How much weight can a ladder rack carry?
Most truck bed ladder racks are rated between 500 and 1,000 pounds evenly distributed and stationary, with a lower limit while driving. The rating is listed on each product page. Never exceed it, and tie the load down at both ends.
Will a rack work with my tonneau cover?
Some over-bed racks are designed to clamp to the bed rails above a low-profile cover; others take up the rail space a cover needs. Check the product notes for cover compatibility before ordering both.
Can I mount a rack without drilling?
Many bed racks clamp to the rails or use the factory stake pockets with no drilling. Headache racks and heavy-duty contractor racks often bolt through the bed. The mounting method is listed on each product.
What is the difference between a headache rack and a ladder rack?
A headache rack is a frame that sits behind the cab to protect the rear window and mount lights. A ladder rack spans the whole bed with crossbars to carry ladders, pipe and lumber above the bed.
Do roof racks fit any SUV?

How does shipping work on racks?
Orders of $300 or more ship free to the lower 48; smaller orders pay shipping calculated at checkout. Full-size ladder racks ship by freight and get a discounted freight rate at checkout. Freight and oversize items are not included in free shipping. Inspect the shipment before signing and report any damage within 48 hours.
Can I return a rack?
New, uninstalled racks in original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery with a return authorization. A 20% restocking fee applies and the customer pays return shipping. Damaged, defective or incorrect items are replaced at no cost when reported within 48 hours.
