The Bilstein B8 5100 uses a monotube internal design with a velocity-sensitive, digressive piston. This patented valving responds quickly to changing road and surface conditions, helping maintain consistent control and fade-resistant performance during demanding street, towing, and off-road driving. The smooth-body construction is zinc plated for durable corrosion resistance, while the black bellows boot helps protect the shaft from road debris.
This non-adjustable shock absorber features 16mm eye-style upper and lower mounts, a 46mm piston, and a 14mm shaft. It provides 11.00 inches of stroke between a 17.01-inch collapsed length and a 28.01-inch extended length. The unit does not include a spring seat or reservoir and is designed for suspension systems requiring a direct-fit B8 5100 shock absorber.
