The Bilstein B8 8112 Black Hawk features a smooth aluminum shock body with a finned aluminum remote reservoir to increase oil capacity and improve cooling during demanding driving. Its monotube internal design and large piston support consistent damping performance, while ZoneControl® position-sensitive damping helps reduce harsh bottoming and maintain a composed ride over smaller impacts. The integrated internal bump stop further expands suspension control through challenging terrain.
Three external damping adjustments provide independent high- and low-speed compression tuning, allowing drivers to tailor suspension response to vehicle setup, cargo, and driving conditions. The coilover includes a spring seat and uses a special upper mount with an eye-style lower mount and Heim spacers.
