Description
Upgrade your 2019-2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 or GMC Sierra 1500 5.3L V8 with the Borla 140770BC S-Type Cat-Back Exhaust System. Designed for vehicles with automatic transmissions and 2WD or 4WD, this performance exhaust system fits extended-cab models with a standard bed and crew-cab models with a short bed. It is also compatible with Trail Boss models when equipped with the required factory split rear exit configuration. The system uses a 3-inch main pipe flowing into dual 2.75-inch tailpipes to deliver Borla’s classic S-Type sound while minimizing interior drone.
Constructed from premium T-304 stainless steel, the Borla 140770BC is engineered for lasting performance, corrosion resistance, and dependable fitment. Fully welded construction, smooth mandrel bends, and precision CNC manufacturing support efficient exhaust flow and help promote improved throttle response, power, and driving enjoyment. Borla’s patented straight-through and multi-core technology produces the distinctive Sound of Power without compromising everyday drivability.
The system includes dual round 3.5-inch black chrome tips made from T-304 stainless steel for a refined custom appearance. Installation requires removal of the factory valance tips. Crew-cab models with a standard bed and 157-inch wheelbase require Borla Adapter 60708. Do not use Borla Stainless Steel Polish, part number 21499, on the black chrome tips; clean them with hot water and a microfiber cloth instead. Other Borla systems with alternate tip finishes or provisions for reusing factory tips are also available. Backed by Borla’s Million-Mile Warranty, the 140770BC provides a durable, precision-engineered exhaust upgrade for Silverado and Sierra owners.
