This complete 5-inch suspension lift system is designed to increase ground clearance while retaining the factory coil springs, load-carrying capacity, and comfortable ride characteristics. By using a carefully engineered combination of heavy-duty brackets and steel spacers, the system provides a practical lift solution with minimal replacement components.
The factory Ram radius arms are relocated with robust 1/4-inch steel brackets to maintain proper caster at the new ride height. Heavy-duty front and rear track bar drop brackets help center the axles beneath the vehicle, supporting stable handling and proper suspension geometry. The front coil springs are retained with angular steel spacers that preserve the factory spring bow, an important design feature for maintaining the alignment characteristics and ride quality intended by Chrysler. Rear steel coil spring spacers help preserve the truck’s original weight-carrying capability.
Fabtech also includes heavy-duty steel front bump stop extensions that retain the factory bump stop cushions for progressive suspension damping. These extensions help prevent excessive suspension travel under demanding conditions and offer a more secure solution than replacement long-length urethane bump stops, which may shift or push out during severe use. The included shocks complete the system for a balanced installation and dependable performance on and off the road.
