The progressive two-stage design combines a Flex Rate and a Ride Rate. The Flex Rate allows the springs to expand during full suspension droop, helping keep the coils properly seated while maintaining tire contact with uneven terrain. After compression passes the Flex Rate, the Ride Rate engages to provide the support and stability needed during normal driving and more aggressive off-road conditions.
